Every double spread in the book showcases one choupai of the bhajan in Devanagari script (Hindi) as well as the Roman alphabet (English). The meaning of the verse is then written in simple words in English which can be easily understood. The illustrations are beautiful and complement the text very well. Added to this, there is a QR code in the book which can be scanned to listen to audio clippings of each chaupayi. An effective way to get the pronunciations right. The book includes an attractive sticker sheet.

I have enjoyed reading this book with my eight year old for almost a month now. We have been going over it in detail and trying to memorise this powerful bhajan. It has been an extremely soothing and refreshing experience for both of us. I found my son chanting the bhajan whenever he felt agitated or bugged. It seems to be giving him some sort of solace.

The best part is he can pick up the book and read it over and over again without anyone’s help to understand the meaning. How cool is that! I was pretty impressed with the idea to have come up with a book on a theme like this when I first heard of it. Books like these are much needed for children as well as adults like me! A MUST READ for sure. My son now feels that Hanuman is the original superhero and none of the present day superheroes match up to him.
