Ninad Talks : Shruthi Rao about A Melody in Mysore and more

After a long hiatus of more than a year, Ninad (the ten year old @ Housefull of Books) is back on Ninad Talks channel with Shruthi Rao, the author of “A Melody in Mysore”. We read this book from our favourite “Songs of Freedom” series a couple of months ago. This is an enthralling story of a feisty girl who finds herself being drawn into the freedom struggle in an unexpected way through music.

Ninad had loved reading another book by Shruthi called “India to the Rescue” a couple of years back. He was thrilled to meet her last year at the opening of Funky Rainbow bookstore. He was very excited to know that one of the latest books from his favourite series is by her. Also, the book is set in Mysore which is my hometown making it a special one for us. He wanted to have a conversation with Shruthi about this book and more after reading it.
