Weekly Roundup for the Week starting August 16, 2021
The week started off with the story of a boy and his turtle researcher mother going on a field trip to watch nesting of turtles in the Andaman Islands. This was followed by a poignant Khasi tale of a red deer from Meghalaya, a folk tale about a Poori which has a kind of its own and doesn’t want to be eaten, a tale of friendship and the bond between a grandmother and a grandson who share a common love for stories.
